Can online nursing courses contribute to NMC revalidation CPD?
Relevant learning can contribute to your CPD record when you document the activity, learning time, what you learned and its relevance to your practice. The NMC requires 35 hours of CPD in the three years since your last renewal or joining the register, including at least 20 hours of participatory learning. Follow the NMC guidance when planning and recording your activity.
Are these self-paced courses participatory CPD?
Self-paced study completed on your own is non-participatory learning. These courses do not by themselves satisfy the NMC's participatory learning requirement. Plan appropriate learning with other professionals separately and keep evidence of that activity.
Are these courses for becoming a registered nurse?
