Continence Care
This theory-based course provides practical continence-care awareness for carers, senior carers, nurses and other adult health and social care staff in England. It explains urinary and bowel continence, common causes of incontinence, person-centred assessment, dignity, toileting support, hydration, constipation, skin care, urinary tract infection awareness, catheter care, documentation and escalation. It is designed for care homes, domiciliary care, supported living and other CQC-regulated adult social care services.
