COSHH
This course provides health and social care staff in England with a practical understanding of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, commonly known as COSHH. It explains what substances hazardous to health are, how exposure can occur, how risks should be assessed and controlled, and what staff must do to work safely in care settings. The course also explains the importance of storage, labelling, personal protective equipment, cleaning products, medicines-related substances, biological hazards, waste handling and emergency procedures.
