Staff Competency Assessment
This management awareness course explains how adult social care providers in England can design, carry out, record and quality-assure staff competency assessments. It focuses on the difference between training attendance and demonstrated competence, how managers select appropriate evidence, how assessors make defensible judgements, and how services respond when competence is not yet demonstrated or has deteriorated.
