Person-Centred Care, Dignity and Respect
This CPD-level course provides health and social care staff in England with a practical understanding of person-centred care, dignity and respect. It explains how care must be planned and delivered around the person, their assessed needs, preferences, values, culture, rights, choices and goals.
The course is designed for adult social care and private healthcare settings, including care homes, domiciliary care, supported living, rehabilitation services and services supporting people with complex or long-term needs. It links day-to-day practice with current regulatory expectations, including CQC Regulation 9, Regulation 10, Regulation 11, Regulation 17 and the wider principles of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care.
